I live in Harlem with my four cats (three boys and one girl), a vast collection of comics and memorabilia, and way more books than should fit in a Manhattan one-bedroom apartment. Even though I live in America now, I'm originally from Ireland, so my accent gets a lot of comments. I'm into comics (Ed Brubaker is my favourite writer hands down), baseball (the Mets may suck but I forgive them), and of course my cats (although I swear I'm not a crazy cat lady). I'm also a closeted physics, math, and aviation nerd.

My academic background is in biochemistry and fine arts (I know, right, diverse) and right now I'm doing graduate research into conflict theory, specifically terrorism and religious extremism. I also recently wrote a research paper on the Columbine High School shooting, and am currently working on one about the Israeli Mossad (if you have even the slightest tendency towards paranoia, I advise you not to read about them) and Operation Wrath of God.
