There IS a THICKER grove of trees and "other stuff" (based in the 1991 ariel) that could or could not be a "gravel pit".

Common sense places CR 33 as "SEWAGE ROAD" It's the road that ran up RIGHT NEXT to the sewage ponds further up the road. Heinrich stated in court "100 yards".

My only point is gun shots in late OCT. isn't unusual to hear in the Paynesville area.

I agree. A couple of gun shots in that area wouldn't arise any suspicion. The closest homstead WAS the property Jacob's remains were found on. And based on the the Voss's, the didn't live there in 1989. Voss is WAY too young to have lived there in 1989. THe Voss farm is public knowledge...

Honestly, looking back on how things were back in 1989, a couple of gun shots would be an issue. I don't hunt but, I have friends that do, and isn't fall deer hunting season?

I only think so because of how the obviously under water places look. I thing even the trees were under water in 1991 when that ariel pic was taken. It was April 1991. Spring is a wet month here (in MN). Plus, look at that road on Google Earth. It's VERY low lying.

Did you see the historic pic of that "gravel pit" in 1991? I looked like it's mostly under water. It looks like it floods a lot.

Personally, I think that makes the most sense just based on Heinrich's testimony. He said he drove about 100 yards up "Sewage Pond Road". That matches more with the FIRST field of trees/ect. The other field of trees is almost 500 yards off HWY 23. Never mind driving the bobcat. EDIT: By...
