Here is the link to the video that contains the footage of the 'miniature saw'. http://www.chch.com/police-search-continues-for-audrey-gleaves-killer/ I tried to grab a screen shot from the video but it's not the clearest: Posting from my phone so apologies for any technical glitches...

Now that the charges are dropped — after DNA evidence didn’t match Scott — they are weighing whether to launch a lawsuit, said lawyer Charles Spettigue. http://www.thespec.com/news-story/2205656-eccentric-doesn-t-equal-murderer/ Yep. I believe there is DNA.

Spettigue: The returns on the initial DNA cleared David, they didn’t link him in any way shape or form. Reporter: Spettigue says if it was that horrific it would take a lot of physical effort to attack someone in that manner… Spettigue: …and it seems highly unlikely that anybody could do that...

LC can you please link to some of those posts? This is the first I've heard any mention of semen and a search turned up nothing but a few generalized speculative discussions about what IF there was semen. I'm definitely interested to know if there was semen collected!!! Hamilton Police Supt...

...or any DNA that was collected only matched people close to/known by AG - people who could explain away the presence of their DNA at the scene...WHY would LE question anyone known to AG if the collected DNA evidence was "unknown"? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, even though I ASSUME that DNA...

ITA. I believe that LE has DNA samples from the crime scene. I believe the only DNA samples found - match people/a person who were/was known to AG, spent time with her in her home/on her property, and so, that DNA might have reasonably have been expected to be there. I believe that so far LE has...

It's possible it's as simple as: It was late at night and AG was "in for the night" (as in, not planning on going back out to smoke) and the dogs were already penned up. She couldn't settle in and eventually decided to go have a smoke, but decided not to take the dogs because they were...

It's hard to tell from the video footage but to me that saw looks more like some kind of small fine-toothed hacksaw,or even some type of manual pipe cutting tool/saw with an adjustable blade.

Re items missing/found in ground searches: 'There were items missing from Audrey’s house, but it has not been revealed what they are, Some of the items were found during the ground searches, detectives do not know for sure they are related to the homicide.'...

So I wonder if there is anyone in Audrey's circle of friends whose absence would/could have gone unnoticed by their family/friends if they spent days at her home over the holiday season? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome! I would start with the Media Thread and then, unfortunately (because it is a LOT of reading), the best way to get up to speed would be to read through the previous threads. Here's the Media Thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226740 Here's the link to...
