It's a different Doe, 1970 Saugerties John Doe I emailed the agency handling the case, they were fast replying to my email but I never heard back from them after that.

Where did you see the 260 cM match? DDP only shows Passmarble with a match of 7.7cM. I've been searching the GedComs for the possible last names that have kits associated to see if I can find Passmarble and start from there. Of course, this is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Is there a name for the match? I found someone who was born in Manizales in 1949. The mother's last name is Mejia. The person, at some point in his life, lived in Naples, FL. I'm currently working on a Jane Doe (endless) family tree. I don't mind volunteering to work on this John Doe.

Thanks for the info. I started this thread for DB's daughter. She PMed me, after reading my post in a different thread, where I suggested DB as a possible match to a Jane Doe. That was the only time I saw her here, Hope she has found some closure. MOO JMO
