He could definitely be Hispanic because Hispanic is not a race, it’s an ethnicity. So he could be a White Hispanic.
I don’t know how accurate the original sketch is, but there’s something "Native" about his eyes. MOO JMO
In the previous thread (I reread it yesterday), someone mentioned that BCJD looked Asian. Your sketches definitely give that impression too. Asian or mixed Native. MOO JMO
That's the only thing we can be sure about! A decent casket was furnished by them, Mr. Mothe Jr attended the funeral, a prayer was said and our BCJD was laid to rest. 🕊️
I just reached page 27 of the first thread and realized that @Baudelaire had already posted these same records on June 6, 2021. I even quoted the post at some point. My apologies... I had no memory of it. MOO JMO
So, I found the Mothe Funeral Home card index, but there’s no way to search by date, only by name. Using the alphabetical order, I found an "Unknown Male Torso" and got very excited to know that there were "Unknowns" but "unfortunately "that was the only one. I also tried searching for "Doe"...

That would mean reaching out to Mr. Boyd Mothe Sr 😉
I don’t think there are any rules about who we can contact, as long as WS isn’t involved. Reaching out to victims’ families is for LE... But that’s common sense, and not the case here.

Case modified on March 10. No visible changes that I can see and no exclusions.
Replying to myself for context.
For years now, that I go through photos and videos of balseros lost at sea almost every day, trying to match them to JDs and hoping their families have some closure.
