I was going to suggest the same thing. If she died in childbirth or while the child was young, he or she would've been taken into state care and adopted out. And could presumably be looking for biological relatives, as could his or her kids.
This article states that no usable DNA was found in the well, from what I understand. It also mentions that the current landowners want to fill in the well and put the matter to rest (which I strongly disagree with).

I wonder how unique the name Darrell Sutterfield is? There is another individual by that name in the area. . .definitely not the same as the birth dates do not match. Perhaps a relation?
I found an obituary for a man in which it mentions Mr. Henault's name and residence (OKC)--he appears to be the brother of the deceased. Other living siblings are also mentioned so perhaps one of them can be contacted? I'm not sure if I can link the info here. . .
