Remembering Tamara on her birthday today. Still hoping for justice.

I'm trying to match up the angular patch of grass and the structure behind her in that picture with the railroad depot building adjacent to the parking lot off Morton Street, but can't quite figure it out. The news article said she was entering the Constitution Garden area.

Thank you. That's what it looked like to me, too. I don't know that Tamara would have walked past the Memorial towards town. I think she primarily visited the Memorial site.

Do you know exactly where she was found? How far from the Memorial site was it?

Still thinking about Tamara and wondering if we'll ever know what happened.

I truly hope so. I want justice for Tamara.

Tamara is a friend I met through the Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria. She was very protective of the memorial and often checked on it as it was vandalized several years ago. Over the years, that area has become less safe. When we were all gathered there on October 1 last year for a remembrance...
