    Brad Cooper: Appeal info

You're certainly entitled to however you feel. Nancy Cooper deserves justice, so does her family, including Brad. I'd like to see a fair, unbiased trial without the circus atmosphere, and Brad's constitutional rights being respected. If the 2nd trial can get to the actual truth, then I will...

Please forgive my ignorance, but when and where in NC did this occur? Is the case on WS?

Wasn't there also a brown fluid in her stomach at the autopsy? Too bad they didn't test it more thoroughly, then we'd know what it was.

I think it only takes one person to pull off this particular conspiracy. In fact, it would be better if it were only one, then there's no one to have a crisis of conscience and tell someone.

You're right. There was also caffeine in her system from her autopsy, but there was not caffeinated beverages at the party the night before. Coffee would certainly make sense after she was up late and got up early with a fussy child.

She had Crohn's disease (it's a form of colitis). Yes, the younger daughter had woken up and was fussy and they were out of milk. That's why Brad made the first trip to Harris Teeter. I don't know if the Crohn's disease means she wouldn't drink coffee first thing in the morning or not.

However, if he didn't actually do the Google map search, how would he know at the point of the custody hearing that he needed to include it in his deposition? Since the testimony from the 2 defence experts (outside the presence of the jury) was fairly compelling and the FBI computer expert...

    Brad Cooper: Appeal info

The computer was left turned on and connected to the internet for 27 hours after police took over the Cooper's house with a warrant. There was also a 6 week delay between when the computer was received into evidence by the police and when it was hashed (a forensic copy made) and during this...

    Brad Cooper: Appeal info

I'm having doubts that the Google map search will make it into a second trial. If the defence can successfully petition to exclude it based on spoliation or police not following forensic protocols for collection and handling of digital evidence, then the outcome could be radically altered. The...

That's interesting, I also work in a lab, and we use humour to deal with many of the stressful things that happen there too. I think this makes us very human, and I too often giggle at inopportune moments - it's nervous energy & I'm just blowing off steam.

I suggested this 5 pages ago.... I still stand by my guess. It reminded me of the puppies in the movie "Babe"

He used his real (LM) passport to fly to France on May 26 - before he was wanted. Because he was going from France to Germany, and they both belong to EU (European Union), he didn't have to produce his passport for the bus trip. He registered for the bus trip as K. Trammel, one of his online...

I am 100% sure that it is NOT a Boston.... the nose/snout is too long and the fur is too fluffy, even for a puppy. My guess is some type of Border Collie cross (I just went back and looked again).

I think it may be a border collie puppy, but that's just a guess based on the shape of the nose and the colouring of the fur.
