Such a sad ending for those little kids. To lose mom & and dad. I imagine the police had him in their sights from the get go as he gave enough of us an uneasy feeling on here from just looking at his posts and reading his story of how she disappeared. I'm sure in person he set off red flags...

Statement of facts says they killed her because they didn't have the rent money. Tried to strangle then suffocate her. I could not get the other statement of facts link to open so am posting this one incase anyone else has the same issue...

They will return to court April 28 for formal sentencing.

Off the topic of NL, but I see many of the same names that followed the Loretta Saunders case in this thread too. Just an FYI that the trial for her accused murderers started today. I put today's tiny bit of info in Loretta's thread. I don't know how or if the thread can be moved from awaiting...

After day one . 5 jurors picked. 1 woman. 4 men. Loretta's mother and boyfriend on witness list. Trial expected to take 4 weeks.

I am sure this will be another very difficult week or so for Loretta's friends and family. I hope they have the strength to get though it with grace and dignity in this very difficult time. Sending prayers for the days ahead.
