Thank you, this is helpful. Has there been any recoil incidents where gravity played a part, ie. the resulting recoil from being in probe position firing up and close to face.?:twocents:

I would defer to Mahouston and mc00w who appear to be gun experts, but I found this video of a boy firing the gun, and it seems a weaker hand brought about more recoil. The recoil here is huge, IMO: Kel Tec PF 9 recoil and 10 yard shooting - YouTube :twocents::twocents:

Thank you for the reply, I'm glad to learn of your position, as I remember seeing several posts that specifically requested that Mahouston should refrain from posting about gun recoil in a previous thread. I hope we can all be tolerant about opinions, theories and evidence from both sides...

First of all, those who propose theories unfavorable to GZ should *also* be allowed to post their opinions, thoughts and theories, IMO. Lots of scenarios that GZ's supporters posted were purely conjectural, especially about how TM circled back and "jumped" GZ, ruthlessly slammed his head onto...

:tyou:No matter the verdict, I want to thank many WS members for insightful opinions, facts and well-argued posts that shed more light onto the case, eg. the possibility of gun recoil that could account for GZ's bleeding nose in the absence of GZ DNA on TM, details about Florida's self-defense...

Excellent post - I agree that AIMING for the heart shows intent to kill, no less. IMO

Poll: Guilty, Not Guilty, Hung Jury

I personally believe that GZ is GUILTY of 2nd degree Murder, that he snapped that rainy night and flew into a violent rage as he did before on other occasions, but voted Hung Jury because the case is no longer straightforward and the current political, racial and emotional overtones would make a...

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #14 Friday July 12

Again, it matters that the belief of *IMMINENT DEATH* MUST be *REASONABLE*. Sure a tiny, tiny % of people in the world died from one single punch, but that's 0.0000000000000000000000000000000....000001% of the zillions of single punches flying every second in the world we live in. IMO. So is...

The whole altercation took all of a couple of minutes. It means within SECONDS of getting into a fight, GZ shot to kill TM. How IMMINENT was death when you first begin grappling with an UNARMED person??:twocents::twocents::twocents:

Kudos to you...it is easy to forget that GZ KNOWS the laws, his father and uncle KNOW the laws, he is armed with this knowledge in his words and deeds throughout this tragedy.IMO :twocents::twocents::twocents:

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #14 Friday July 12

There is still a *LACK* of evidence that TM caused all of GZ's injuries. JG saw "one man on top and up and down arm motions", he didn't see TM punch or slam GZ. We know for a fact that TM & GZ had a physical encounter at some point, but NO EVIDENCE that TM caused GZ's injuries. It's a...

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #14 Friday July 12

Respectfully, RJ wasn't lying with regard to the case or its testimony, nor did she lie to LE or to a judge. All of us tell little white lies everyday to avoid some unpleasantness, eg. to excuse ourselves from an obligation. It doesn't mean we would lie under oath. In RJ's case, it's to avoid...

George Zimmerman /Trayvon Martin General Discussion #14 Friday July 12

As I mentioned in a previous thread, those could very well had been pushing and shoving motions, or restraining and pushing back motions. It is extremely telling that JG changed his testimony under oath, it means he wasn't entirely certain that those were "pound and ground", but he could be sure...

Yeah, I can't stand the sarcasm about the fruit drink and the skittles, as if they were deliberate "props" by a malice-filled 🤬🤬🤬🤬, because it was a FACT that those were what TM had on him that night, NO MORE NO LESS. IMO.
