No kidding...what a waste of energy and emotion. I guess some fans are just as attached and loyal to their teams as they would be to their pets or loved ones. And sports can be unfair and subjective, so fans can easily feel "betrayed" by referees, etc. Still doesn't make it sensical or right...

Could be he killed her very early in the morning (while kids were asleep?) and then went to court at 9 and "waited" for her, in order to have an alibi, then figured he'd go home and "discover" her body. Awful. Another back-country feud taken way too far, is my guess...sounds like they argued quite a bit in the past. His mugshot creeps me out, something about him is way off. Does anyone else wonder why, when someone confesses to a murder, often the police still can't get a motive out of them...

OMG, this was a couple of blocks from me!! It sounds like she lives in my neighborhood, it's the only residential area in that direction. How horrible and sad!!! And also sad to me is my kids and I may have interacted with her at some point and I wouldn't have remembered her. Heartbreaking...
