The Cecil is currently bank-owned and incredibly mismanaged. This explains why everything is still unlocked and nonfunctioning. What a nightmare!

So I asked a journalist with the LA Weekly if he had heard anything new and if he knew when the tox results may be back. He told me he is hearing early May. Taking a long time!

Maybe find a manufacturer and call them? Or find someone who installs them?

I'll try to ask him this wknd. He's never worked on hotels or such large structures of that age, but he may know.

I asked my brother the plumber about this. I asked him where he would look if there were complaints of bad pressure. He said he would start at the floor having the problem and head upward. He said he would check the tanks on the roof for sure. He has about 30 yrs in the business.

So I'm assuming we check back on this thread for updates about their trip and potential video?

The Hotel Cecil is HUGE! When you just see the facade from the street it is deceiving. I've visited many of the DTLA historic core hotels - - The Barclay, The Alexandria, The Biltmore....all enormous. I imagine there are plenty of nooks and crannies and strange goings-on within the walls.
