I am still a member of the group. With not to many leads they usually post info on other missing people and on the anniversary they ask for help putting up flyers and such. Ida usually posts something about Robert on holidays and kids BD's
I live in Brooklyn, But have Friends in the area, it's a very safe neighborhood and people have been running there for years without violence. I guess when you are very familiar with an area you grew up in you let your guard down. So sad.
yes, when selling scrap you need to provide photo ID and paperwork, once your on file and they know you, they stop asking for ID, they do it to show a paper trail in case any stolen items come in.
Usually having dogs sniff the inside of the car is moot, because they know it's rob's car, so his scent will already be in it. Police dogs sniff around the vehicle to see if they can pick up a trail.
