I haven't watched the trial, but I remember the Cold Justice episode and thought that the case against the room-mate was extremely weak, which is why it had, correctly IMO, not been prosecuted.
I was struck by the position of Anita's bedroom window where every person coming in and out of that...
Delays due to technical difficulties......apparently,

I can't see anything live on the main newspaper websites, just local. Shameful.
I am so nervous about today, that Rudakubana's lawyers are going to try for a plea of diminished responsibility, and that the parents are going to be left in the same agony as the relatives of the Nottingham stabbings.
I'm not a legal person so I don't know all the processes in these situations...
Just noticed that No 10 have noticed the rumour about this case on X regarding the PM which has been circulating for a while:
The truth about that Southport-Keir Starmer rumour that went viral
Downing Street have explicitly denied it.
I doubt this rumour has any substance, Starmer is an...
An interesting coincidence that the next meeting of the World Economic Forum begins on January 20th, 2025, which is where the PM will be at the time of Rudakubana's trial, which given the public disquiet over the political management of this tragedy and the aftermath may not be a good look for...
I'm pleased to announce that John Cannan is dead and hopefully on his way straight to hell. I'm not convinced that he was Suzy's killer but so glad for the sake of his other victims and their families that they don't have to worry about him being paroled:
Suzy Lamplugh prime murder suspect...

I feel so sick and so sad for all these victims, Alice, Elsie and Bebe and the other children and adults so...
Yes, I am worried about copycats as well, as we've said there are shades of the school shooter profile here IMO. I know they had to provide a reasonable amount of protection in case there was trouble at court but the whole fleet of vehicles made me uncomfortable. There are so many disaffected...
At last, a little bit of common sense and civic responsibility. Interesting that the very first picture the media release is him as a young child, when doubtless they have many more. So much information management going on here. Still a pretty chilling expression in those eyes IMO.
Telegraph reporting that the accused was a member of a theatre group, and performed in a West End show :Southport stabbings suspect performed in West End show
Sounds like the parents were trying to encourage their sons into healthy social activities, and mentions that the older brother was a...
Of course, but they do release some data, including a physical description which could be relevant to gather information. When they delay, it allows those wishing to stir up trouble, full rein.
Yes Ellie, I wondered that but I think it unlikely that the Telegraph would quote the unverified social media reports and it was the Telegraph that first reported the suspect's accurate family details that I posted.
