This is a very sad situation and so many factors at play. Firstly, to the poor young woman who lost her life. To the family of that young woman. I feel she was let down by the system in multiple ways, homelessness, lack of resources for drug rehabilitation, her general safety overall...

This is not justice. His secrecy, his lies, his deception. The pain he has caused to all that knew and loved Karen. 6 years is not fair. I’m so sorry to all her friends and family. I’m heartbroken and outraged.

What will make it interesting, is she wasn’t found for 8 months so, no cause of death was determined if I recall correctly. Would that make it possible for a manslaughter conviction/sentence?

I’m wondering if it was the extent of the injuries. If Hinch is correct in his tweet with what he did to certain parts of her body, maybe they wanted to leave that out due to how graphic it was. I have no idea otherwise.
