I would assume it is related to the tire tracks the property owner found on his property. Perhaps this indicates that they were a match to RAT's truck......
Perhaps the news agencies are taking liberties, but this is one article that used that phrase....I know there were others too.

I'm trying to find the lawyers exact words, but can't. So it could be that the...
Something has really been bugging me. Maybe this has already been said, so I'm sorry if I missed it.
The lawyer said that RAT said he wasn't the last person to see her "alive." This would indicate to me that he knows she is dead. So he did kill her and is lying through his teeth or perhaps he...
That is correct. It is unlikely that the body was dropped off at the landfill, most likely was put in a dumpster and then picked up by a truck and deposited at the landfill. :(
Augusta is another neighboring county, NW of Nelson. Depending on where the landfill was, it is hard to say how far away. Not terribly far though. 30 minutes from Lovingston potentially. You'd take 151 to get there most likely.
It is probably just all the agents' cars there to search the area. Either they came across something or received another tip, or perhaps RAT told them something to initiate another search of the area. I just hope they find something to help them find Alexis.
However, the middle school and high school are in the same building, so the possibility does exist, just not as likely.
This makes my heart race....I'm so sad.
Yes, those kind of dumpsters are in that area I believe. Certainly are in Amherst County (Neighboring county)...I would assume also in Nelson.
Thanks for the explanation Moxie.
