It would be quite difficult to shoot a drone with shotgun slugs. They aren't terribly accurate. Now, a shotgun full of buckshot is a different matter entirely. In fact, it's now becoming SOP to take drones out with this method in Ukraine. Do we know if the accused was carrying buckshot?

If there are images available and if someone is willing to send cropped images of JUST the branches, I would take a look to see if I recognise anything as long as doing so does not compromise the trial or violate law. Hopefully those images aren't on anyone's SSDs right now though.
