Found Deceased IN - Abigail (Abby) Williams & Liberty (Libby) German - The Delphi Murders - #149

Like you, I'm sort of flabbergasted if that height is correct. That would be unusual for a man. Forget all the other details, that one alone would have likely narrowed the search down considerably if eye witnesses mentioned it (and why wouldn't they?). Of course, it could just be a typo on the...

Found Deceased CO - Gannon Stauch, 11, Colorado Springs, Lorson Ranch, El Paso County, 27 Jan 2020 *endangered* #19

Isn't the rule of thumb that evidence that is "wet" (e.g., blood, dna, body secretions, not literally wet) is collected in paper evidence bags? I could be making that up, but I seem to remember that from another case.

Found Deceased OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #4

That's just awful. What a terrible tragedy. There will be a lot of second guessing and finger pointing, I'm sure. The failure to report early on, the way the investigation was handled, just the general lack of urgency, but I hope he did not suffer. I can't bear to think of him stuck there...

Found Deceased OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #4

This case would suggest that would not be a good assumption for investigators. Many vacant homes have unlocked windows/doors that wouldn't show a sign of being forced (actually, many homes in general have things stolen without signs of forced entry, so I don't think the lack thereof would rule...

Found Deceased OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #4

I can buy into a 14 year old climbing down a chimney (I guess) to gain access to a locked, vacant home, but he had to have made it once to leave his jacket there, so why didn't he just unlock a back door or window instead of using the chimney (presumably) a second, fatal time? Using the chimney...

Found Deceased OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #4

We don't know the circumstances yet, of course, but I am bit surprised that a nearby vacant home wasn't searched earlier, other than the perimeter, it sounds like. I only have experience with one missing child, but the police in that situation definitely searched inside homes that were under...

OH OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #2

That's the thing that I keep coming back to. If Harley has these rituals he doesn't deviate from, and that ritual did not happen, then what led to the assumption that he ran away? I wish we knew more about where the initial assumption came from. The bathing thing was such an odd thing to make...

OH OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #2

I agree with this. The timeline to me (which is still a bit of a mystery to me) is so odd. I just can't wrap my head around the way this case has played out and been approached to make it make sense. There are really only a couple of reasons for a school to call the parents, all of which...

OH OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #2

I'm surprised no one has come forward to say, "Oh, that was my son," or "That was me," given the coverage and wide audience for that pic. Wouldn't you know if it was you, based on the timeframe and what you knew you were wearing that day? That seems a bit odd that no one has claimed it was...

OH OH - Harley Dilly, 14, walking to Port Clinton High School, 20 Dec 2019 #2

I'm honestly more worried that Harley reached a breaking point and did something drastic than I am that some awful person who happened to find his completely random social media account tracked down and kidnapped a 14 year old off the street in front of his house in broad daylight. Not that...

Found Deceased AL - Aniah Haley Blanchard, 19, Auburn, Lee County, 23 Oct 2019 #3 *Arrest*

As others pointed out, I'm very curious about the reason law enforcement didn't release his image sooner. Not as a suspect or POI, even, just as someone they want to interview since he was in the same place at the same time she was last seen. I'm sure they spoke with the clerk there for the...

Recovered/Located FL - Marcella Black (Dustin), Chloe & Maddie, Magy Maloy, ages 6-11, Okaloosa Co, 22 Sept 2019

You can see pictures of where they were found on the OCSO Facebook page. Sandbar is a bit of a misnomer, but the way that river curves, there are lots of these little pockets of beachy areas. Basically, it sounds like they went for a walk in the woods and got lost. Just glad they were found...

Reports from the police scanner are coming in that they have been found alive on the riverbank. Spotted by the helicopter. ETA: Mom of the friend gets call about finding them: Crestview Community Television OSCO's update to Found: Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office

It's been reported in several local news sources. Of course, that's just based on what info the "family friend" was given, but that's the story so far. Here's one: BREAKING: Mother and four children missing in Okaloosa County
