Ages behind on posts. Have not checked the thread in awhile. So glad to see that it is still active. Thank you to our intrepid sleuthers. Keeping the faith that you finally get justice Lyric and Lizzie.
Not what I expected to see when checking the news this afternoon. Sad, sad way for this to end. May the families find peace and comfort in their love for each other and their faith in their God. R.I.P. Elizabeth and Lyric.
Theory, schmeery. All we know is that these two young girls are missing. No one here knows where they are - or if they do, they aren't telling. I think every single one of us is entitled to their opinion of what happened. However, as frustrating as it is, we don't know and won't know until...
They cannot enter the house if the key has been removed from the lockbox. Of course, that would mean that someone who knew the lockbox code would be implicated. There could be several folks who knew the code: every RE agent around, anyone sent to the home to clean-up or make repairs, etc.
As I understand it, TG did not speak to anyone at the lake on the 13th. It was the next day when his daughter saw the news about the abduction, and rememebered her conversation with her father about him just missing the bikes, that he realized he should let LE know about what he had seen.
mahoolin, I don't know that anyone is implying anything - other than being aware there is an 80 pound difference between the two girls. IMHO, it would have been much easier to subdue Elizabeth, and for Lyric to have acquiesced out of fear for and even, perhaps, hoping to protect her younger...

This statement leads off each new thread and seems to indicate the purse was found on the highway side of the fence (south of the trail), not the lake side (north of the trail). Do we have confirmation of exactly where the purse was found? Or, am I reading it wrong?
If that fence is eight feet high, then those officers and TG are nine feet tall. (I'm not saying that the fence isn't eight feet in some places, just not where that picture was taken). Caveat: there isn't a steep drop in ground level between the edge of the path and the fence. Hard to tell.
This is not directly entirely to you, but also to some of the other comments above: Ollie has said many times that he does not think the girls were on the lake side of the fence - the terrain is simply not conducive to playing. That, I suspect, is the reason for the fence. He also said that...
The wooded area at the east end of the lake (Maiden Lane end), only looks to be about 4 acres. I shouldn't think it would take all that long to search?
Forgive me for not being up on the geographical layout of the area, but I have two thoughts:
1) if someone were laying in the path, pretending to be hurt, might the girls have gotten off their bikes and gone over the them? Then a second perp comes up from behind and they are cut-off?
2)...
When the creeples picture disappeared from the CL post (I think I'm correct about this) about 2 minutes (I may be exagerating a bit, but not much) after someone here found it, I figured that was probably the case.
