I searched the PA dockets for the "Person of interest". He has had numerous cases of assault, harassment, violation of PFAs and more.

Someone mentioned on a Facebook post her dog was diabetic and blind. If that is true, I would think the dog would have had difficulty getting that far.
In late September, Cassandra posted on a Facebook group page, "Across Westmoreland", that her purse was stolen from her vehicle and she was looking for the man who was using her credit card. Maybe I watch too many shows on ID, but I wonder if he could have something to do with her disappearance...
DJ's mother has repeatedly stated that DJ was not as intoxicated as what is being claimed (they watched the surveillence video of him). And according to DJ's co-worker, they were served that night and she has the receipt to prove it. These statements can be found on DJ's mother's Facebook page.
I can't think of exact examples, I'm sorry. What I do remember happening several times with WPXI is they will report a story without checking facts. I live in Western PA and used to watch WPXI news.

It's quite possible LE is trying to keep everything confidential in case there is foul play involved. If there is, they wouldn't want anything to be revealed to the potential perpetrator. But this makes it extremely difficult on the family to not receive any answers at all.
