Why the need to hide a child's body if it was genuinely an accident though? If a child was well loved and cared for and died in an accident then the family would be distraught. It would be very difficult for everyone to keep that quiet. I don't see why you would.

I think more than one person knows what happened. People keep quiet and don't accept rewards for many reasons.

Unless someone outside of those who live with him saw him on that day, he could have been gone for days or a lot longer before being reported missing.

I just don't buy that in the slightest. It seems completely unfeasible to me. I'd be genuinely shocked if that did turn out to be the case.
