From the SMH. We hadn't heard any of this yet, and explains a lot I think:
"With the eyes of a packed courtroom on him, Kelsall appeared to revel in the attention as, with a dramatic flourish, he told his story of meeting Mr Huxley.
But Kelsall began to crumble under meticulous...
It's very sad that a life can be taken so randomly. All the "what ifs"…what if Morgan has just stayed in…what if the ex had driven him home. It must be incredibly painful for his friends and family.
"Going to jail depended on whether he wanted to get caught"
DJK thinks he can outsmart everyone. Ran out without seeing who the intruder(s) were - it would not have been a big room. Also, took a phone and money but didn't see what was happening and with whom? Had MH blood on his bag &...
They must think DK will do well on the stand. DK seemed almost arrogant in his police interview. Robert Durst managed to convince a jury that he was innocent of the murder of a man he admitted to chopping up and disposing of (he said he killed him in self defence) when he gave evidence at his...
I think it was season 2 of "Broadchurch" which clearly outlined defence strategy. One (as well as making clear no murder weapon found etc) is suggesting other people it could've been - it doesn't even need to be close to concrete, just the idea there could be other people with a motive (the...
This is also confusing me - the changing story. I also don't believe him running as he was cold (Morgan although inebriated was in a t-shirt and no shoes) and then justifying taking a longer route home and stopping to look at items on the side of the road (if he was that cold he ran along...
It's starting to feel like this isn't it - especially with DJK ringing the police after being interviewed to say they'd had consensual sex (one article said he boasted). Although the timing of this could have been the Tele article saying they had the killer's DNA at the crime scene - so DJK...
I think at the time I was pointing out DJK's direction home was the opposite direction on Ben Boyd Rd and not past the Oaks (which is also on Ben Boyd Rd). However, from Watson St you can also go down Premier St which intersects with Ben Boyd Rd before the connecting street to Spruson.
DJK...
As my education on murderers appears to be from movies/TV ;-) - don't the investigators always look in to the crowd as the murderers always return to the scene of the crime to check out the police etc? And we know DJK liked NCIS and Bones!
Amazing sleuthing Enzeder. Remember though MH was in the back bar which you can only see in to from Ben Boyd Rd (which is opened the latest) and here we are looking at the front bar on Military Rd. The Oaks is a big pub and has lots of sections.
The still and video shows that DJK could have...
Not believing DJK version of events could've been that DJK said he'd left MH alive and unharmed. By this stage they'd traces of MH's blood on DJK's satchel and glasses so they knew he wasn't telling the truth. Or it could be his whole story.
Also, the news reports originally said that it was...
Unless he went back out of the lane and on to Military Rd from Young St. Then he would be seen running up Military towards the Oaks (possibly captured on Vinnie's security cameras) - this is of course about 100 metres as well (as it's the same length as the lane). Maybe he decided to approach...
Sydney Cooking School is across from Oaks (on the other side of Military Rd) in between Ben Boyd and Watson (note you can't see in to the back bar which MH was sitting in from Military Rd). Vinnies is on the same side as the Oaks on Military Rd but in the block away from Watson St. The next...
I know the area quite well, and to head home MH would have no reason to go near the lane. He would have come out of the doors of the main bar (it's opened the latest) and turned right toward Military Road (where he waited is a fair bit down from the lane - half a block) and then turned right...
