I know what a competency hearing is, however, I do have a couple questions. Is this a common tactic used by attorney's to request an evaluation? Or not usually? Also, how common is it for someone to be declared incompetent to stand trial after they've been evaluated? I would think the threshold...

Julia's grandfather gave an interview regarding the case. I think he did a wonderful job, very respectful and gave some great insight! It's very obvious that he is a kind man who loved his granddaughter so very much. Kim & Madison had a lot to say in the live chat comments. Kim accuses her...

Hi everyone, just came across this thread and would like to comment as I know the couple well. Many have asked "didn't the family wonder where their baby went?" No one ever knew Jenna was even pregnant. This was a pattern for her. She hid her 3rd pregnancy from everyone (including her own...

I wonder if the abrasions on Julia's left arm could have been left by the instrument that was used used to cut off her clothing. Two small circular abrasions could possibly be the tip of a sharp pair of open scissors. The affidavit states that Julia's right sleeve was still on her body when she...

I believe Trojan's comment was in regards to hearing the TV Sundate night when the roommate briefly stopped by the apartment. I'm not 100% sure if the alarm actually went off both days or if it was just the one day (I don't believe it went off without stopping for the entire time though). I also...

Trojan posted on 5/14 that the rommate heard Julia's tv as it seemed louder than normal. Nothing has been said about her alarm actually being physically shut off. My previous post states what I believe happened with her alarm.

I hadn't thought of the possibility that Jennifer and M could have planned to be in the area already and decided to meet Julia for lunch. Definitely a possibility but the way it has been described my impression is they went there just to have lunch with her and do a little shopping on her lunch...

I've always had questions about the sister's lunch/shopping date that Sunday. The girls had just spent time together decorating the tree, why didn't they do their Christmas shopping when Julia was home that weekend? I believe Wal-Mart employees can utilize their discount at any Wal-Mart, so why...

Excellent points MIMOMMY. I believe I read on this thread that the laptop was purchased using layaway (I'm not 100% sure about that). If this is the case, IMO the possibility still exists that the girls put the laptop on layaway BEFORE Julia saw something she wasn't supposed to see.

Thank you Trojan and Dazed. It would still seem to me that if the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 case was as weak as it appears (based on JT's attorneys statements) the preliminary exam would have been the time to force the prosecution to present what they did have in order for these charges to be dismissed if...

My point is that if she is telling the truth about that particular day (not that I believe her) why wasn't the computer turned in shortly after if it could possibly help with the investigation? Her reason for not answering the door that day certainly doesn't explain why she refused to cooperate...
