I have read some of it. I think it is mostly helpful in that it presents information in a different way/context. There is nothing completely new as far as I recall, but it compiles a great deal of the "hey look at this!" kind of juicy details and a lot of the stuff that is easy to miss in the...
Oh yeah. Colburn is probably going to lose this.
from the article Missy posted
The "malice" aspect is one hell of a hill for them to climb. Legally speaking, malice is not hatred or anger. It is acting intentionally to do damage in direct contradiction or utter disregard to facts.
The MaM crew...
I would never recommend anyone testify for themselves unless they had some unbelievable, next level charm and ability to stay calm. I don't know if I have ever met a single person that I think would do terribly well under cross examination.
I don't know how much sense that actually makes, to be honest. Who would design a system that defaults to old dates when it comes to logging, especially on a subject where timing can be everything? Seems like "the system did it" is a blame passing excuse. And makes them look even less...
I think I found where the RAV4 was at least some of the time between 10/31 and 11/05. ;)

Just some extra reading about wrongful convictions.
That's 2,235 years of punishment they didn't deserve, including a literal appointments with death. Blind faith in the justice system kills people.
This feels relevant. That is 18% by the way. Almost 1 out of 5. If 1 out of 5 potato chips...
This is only meaningful if courts are infallible. If courts can be mistaken, this is nothing but empty bluster.
"Brendan sounds guilty to me!" Is not evidence. Objectively, it is not evidence. This is a bad standard to judge guilt or innocence. This has been explained to you before. The fact...
Guys, this is a long one, bear with me!
This idea strikes me as wrong. If I was trying for sure to get rid of the bones, and I was scattering them, and already moving the barrel, why three piles, and then bring a bunch home and spreading some there and leaving some in the barrel? If you're...
I don't even need to comment on a lot of this stuff. It speaks for itself. Of course, still in the Ferak book.
One of his brothers, cannot recall which, said Bobby hunted in the quarry. If Bobby lied there, could he be lying about Kuss Road.
Cool cool cool! Police encouraging the destruction...
From the Ferak book again.
"Hey we found some blood near a potential murder scene. Ehhhhhh it can't be that important." - Manitowoc LE apparently.
Ferak still
Honestly, if the police had investigated other people and Steven and Brendan are in fact guilty, that would have made their cases even stronger. The narrow focus is more or less the entire reason MaM was allowed to explode and why accusations of corruption are feasible.
In science, one of the...
On top of that they can lie about the results. It is a thing that adds pressure to a suspect. If they believe they failed, even if they are innocent, it might make them more willing to cut a deal or try to "talk their way out" which literally never works and only makes things worse.
He would...
