I dont blame the famiy. I dont think they care about the legal process, rather its all about finding YY and bringing her back home to rest. Apparently, they are also in the dark. What can they do? Hire a private investogator? How can they sit around and wait for answers?

I hope its not some cruel joke, someone dressing up like YY going around town calling herself YY. I guess it could all be a coincidence too, but whoever this person is should call LE and explain the mix up if its just an honest mistake of identity.

Alll excellent points. they have a great circumstantial case against bc even without the body. As long as there is even the tracest amount of her DNA in his car or apt he's toast.

In his recorded "confession", did he mention his kidnapping victim by name i.e. ZYY? If he didnt he could try to weasle his way out by saying he was discussing fantasy kidnapping scenarios to the informant or whoever.
