James was physically abusive to Suzy, from what I've heard, which is why she divorced him. It was a "I own you" sort of thing, apparently.- ScorpioQueen

Suzi worked at the Petco here in Sumter, SC. James harassed her quite a bit, via phone and by coming to her job, esp. after the divorce. (I know several of her former coworkers.) The theory is he parked some distance away from her home, walked there, and planned on kidnapping her and the kids...- ScorpioQueen
