I am 100% convinced that in many cases he used his victim's car. For example, he admitted that he took the Currier's car for planned bank robberies (3) after the murder, but the car had mechanical issues, so he abandoned the plan.

They know for sure he robbed Tupper Lake in 2009 (?). And the bank in Azle, TX in 2012. He admitted to both of these and there are photos of both. I have attempted to look for bank robberies in certain areas during his travels, but didn't see a data base. Bandit tracker seems to limited to...

Wow BD1989, that's awesome! I think it's natural to be fascinated by these cases, that's why shows like Criminal Minds are so popular. I think it's because we all want to know the "why"? I mean, the people at the FBI were probably fascinated, too, that's may be why they went into the field.
