Re the hangar search: “Numerous computers, electronic devices with data, GPS and digital hard drives” were all excluded. (Para. 33 and para. 205). Sheesh.

I believe Judge Code said he had to bring an application if he did not want to attend the sentencing. I doubt very much that any such application would be granted.

Response to post 716 True. But we are not talking about evidence of inconsistencies. We are talking about using Millard&#8217;s behavior in the courtroom, qua lawyer, to impugn his character as the accused.

There was no DM character evidence introduced at trial other than what can be inferred from the texts and oral testimony. But Dungey was not talking about that. He was talking about DM the lawyer, which is inappropriate, though accurate IMO.

I am guessing that the mistrial application is based on Dungey&#8217;s comment about Millard&#8217;s character.

Her comment to Blasiak about Montreal, Vegas and Disney, combined with the multiples texts and calls to DM on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd certainly suggest to me that he lured her, together with her iPad, her suitcase and her money (less the $1000 she left at her parents place) with a promise of work...

No but she may have information re the current state of the family finances.

I suspect her refusal to answer is related to the civil suit.

So the Crown is not going to ask about this text: Michalski texts Millard: "You told me the only way to make her 🤬🤬🤬." Why not?
