Jeff lied about that though, as he has a multitude of things. Her dad has done nothing but muddy the picture sadly.

They were waiting for "conclusive evidence". Apparently he told them he dropped the phone in the yard when he was walking home from the bar...presumably drunk. He wouldn't agree to DNA test, but they sneaked and got it off a bottle from his trash. I think the holdup was, they had not found...

I just seen the part about the window and door had been busted into. That definitely changes things a bit. So this guy was breaking in. Maybe he was going to try and burglarize.

He did let a homeless druggy stay there recently...which is not the suspect. He also had been a target of repeated robberies. But I can't see it being this guy. It's also strange that his phone was just laying out in the yard. If he forgot it or lost it, it makes me feel like he was too...

I was wondering that. But from what I read, he was married to a woman for a long time. I do think it was odd that he let random men live in the trailer in his back yard for free.

That's what I'm wondering, because that woman's ex and father of their child said it was driving him crazy not knowing if his kid ok. which makes it sound like they are missing, but police haven't said that?

I'm still a lil confused. So he is accused of going after his gf/wife's sister and their kids right? So where is she and her kid? This is the same woman that was the prison guard? I'm a bit perplexed why they were targeted, it seems like any anger would have been on his partner.

Isn't there a crazy statistic that once the FBI gets involved, the prosecution rate is like 99 percent? I think thats what really solved this case.

That's what I was thinking. This is one of the only cases I've seen were in spite of it being circumstantial; it's abundantly clear he is responsible. Who knows who really pulled the trigger, but my guess is it wasn't just these 2 involved in the cover up. Mom and brother need to be put up on...

Was the deliberation that quick or am I confused? I figured it would take them days and I was actually nervous they came back with a hung jury; but if they came back that quick I'm shocked.
