I am wondering also how long the skeletal remains have been there. The obvious case that comes to mind is Skip Zelaya a 60'ish year old male missing from Homosassa, FL., since 2005. Here is a link to his website. http://www.findgeorgeskipzelaya.com/ His family has been waiting a long time...

There is a lot of distance between that exit on I-81 and Lebanon Pike in Nashville/ Davidson County. That would be more than 175 miles. If he was that far away from his truck, he was obviously abducted by someone. I wonder if it would be considered normal for an adult abduction, particularly a...

Satemplat, I would say that is a good choice..the age is correct, time frame would match. Too bad there is so little info on the Cheatham County girl. I would submit it if I were you.

Fairy1, I assume you have not heard back from the ME on this case. I was hoping he/she would respond to you by now. Perhaps you can submit it to doe network. I have only submitted one case to them and got an answer almost immediately...that I was wrong ! I was so hoping there would be some...

I realize it's been 27 years... but that still won't change their mindset...if ya ain't family you have no need to know !!! It's summer, maybe the ME is just on vacation. I hope that is it.

Lorelei, Thanks for checking on that. I think Ellen is a good match.

I guess I wrongfully assumed that the ME would have checked on others missing in the state at the time her remains were found. I'm hoping in 1981 they were more thorough !!! I may be giving them too much credit. Too bad that it couldn't be Ellen Akers, she looked like a good possibility to...

I knew you guys would get right on it !! Thank you for that. I doubt the UID is Jennifer Weyant simply because of the difference in time frame of disappearance and body location, but Ellen is a great match ! You're right, there is so little there on the UID's fact sheet to go on or to help...

This case sticks with me because this girl has been unidentified for so long. Anybody have any ideas on this one ? You all are so good at this ! http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/566uftn.html Found Oct 21, 1981...estimated age 14- 20 years old. So sad that this young girl has gone...

The people of Texas should be proud that their state has such a great Missing Person's Clearinghouse ! I followed the link and went there, such an awful lot of missing people, but at the very least, the Dept of Public Safety has done the job they were asked to do, and set up a great site. Wish...

Bobbisangel and Kathy, First of all Bobbisangel I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine enduring what you did, and having the strengtht o fight for as long as you did. But, being a mother is the key --you don't know what you're capable of until you are faced with something like...

Yes we plan to aid families of all missing persons in Tennessee. There are far too many family members of adults missing that receive nothing. We will categorize them in only two categories, missing children and teens on one page, and missing adults on the next. We don't believe in categorizing...
