I will respond to many of your ideas, comments and questions in the near future. A lot of what has been discussed cane be addressed and the thoughts/ideas bring up some excellent points.
Fitz, good stuff - the extensive detail about " the girl " is quite eye catching. I mean verbatim from his interview he even uses adjectives to describe the shoes such as "grubby white sneakers" And reported "she smelled like she needed to take a bath" (not sure I shared that before) but just...
Hey SeaSparrow - thank you very much for joining the conversation and glad the article peaked your interest. We are not putting all our eggs in one basket and believing the elderly man's story, but, the article is something we needed to do to try and get feedback from the Cape Cod area in the...
The lack of ever telling that story to his son at all is odd - definitely something I think would've been shared at some point over the 9 years before he came in to Sherborn PD. Also, he never mentioned anything to his son about coming into Sherborn PD. Very unusual.
Fitz..... I hate to be so sour with "what was done" but all they have is the guys' name.... no files no interview written down with the PI no nothing. John Regan was the investigator's name....I think he has long since passed unfortunately - I wonder what he had looked into.
The only thing about her going back to her apartment and possibly getting ready for the trip that I have doubts on is that this 70 y/o describes her in clothing & with belongings that matches almost exactly to what the waitress said she recalled Simone leaving in. So maybe its more likely he saw...
Ha ha yes he did live in Framingham. ... I feel the same way .... could be entirely B.... S! I am actively working on the employee listings from 1977 and will be speaking to someone who worked for them back in that era. Regarding your other questions; He called Sherborn PD and then came in to...
YES! exactly, she had just got her apartment in Framingham during the summer of 1977.... this man had been living in Framingham for a while during this time. .... very very interesting I agree.
Hey Justice, very interesting indeed.... she gets her apartment in the summer of 1977 & poof she disappears in September. She lived in her own unit but there were housemates who lived in an adjacent unit....speaking with the sister there is very little suspicion of them. Sounds similar to the...
Intrigued, so many of those questions I have as well; I mean I thought maybe they simply didn't document the interviews with the Rainbow waitresses - but I specifically asked if they had been interviewed before I found them 39 years later, all said NO. No clue why they wouldn't have interviewed...
Hey alleykins, I will check to see if this unidetified was compared to Simone. Also to answer your recent question; that 70 y/o claimed he aaa pulled over on Route 128 (also Route 95) just south of where it intersects with Route 109. This puts the "trooper car stop" in the Westwood, MA area.
JGFitz, thank you for the thoughts on this. So you are correct on the timeline. What happened during those 14-15 hours, yes, is a complete unknown, however, we now strongly believe that this man did come into contact with her - given the recent corroborating description etc. So where was he...
Alleykins, I believe you can find the list of exclusions on Simone's NamUs page. Check it out on there, I tried posting an image of it on here but was having some difficulty. Let me know if that answers some of your questions. Simone has been compared to 25 unidentified parties.
