Occam’s razor Basically, (well as I understand it anyway) the most obvious theory is probably your best bet. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor

Are there any maths/stats minded people who can calculate the chances of so many girls from the same high school becoming victims / going missing? What would be a ‘normal’ kind of number? Zero or one I guess. How many is it now?

Tragic ending to this case. Thoughts and prayers to Elisa’s family, especially her children. The use of the words ‘not at this stage’ and the suggestion in newspaper articles to call crime stoppers if you have information is interesting. That’s only happened since some remains were found, right?

Didn't the flyer given to searchers mention alcoholic, or possible alcoholic?

Of course there is a difference. Survey 100 dog owners & ask them whether (if they had to choose) they'd rather their dog came home distressed, or traumatised? I bet 100 choose distressed. Sorry if it seems like I'm nitpicking, but I'm old fashioned, and still believe in accuracy in...

Sorry, but it's never been reported that the dog was traumatised. Distressed, yes. Traumatised, no. I certainly agree that the distressed dog is significant.

I agree that the distressed dog is probably significant, but I'm not sure how it means she 'had' to have been murdered. We'll have to agree to disagree :)

Looks like there's no discount for second child, but third gets 50%. If you look at those numbers, the bill is OVER 60k (the discount would, obviously, apply to the 'cheapest' child. http://www.cgs.vic.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/CGS-Fees_Charges_20154.pdf For those unable or too lazy! to...

I've got no doubt they're financially stretched, simply through having 2 properties (the beach house I assume doesn't derive any income) and 3 sets of PS fees and all the trimmings that come with that. Keeping up appearances ain't cheap! FWIW, I don't think she committed suicide. I think if...

Yeah I'm open to this theory too. Although I think it's fairly unlikely. Then again, I think each different scenario is unlikely, but one of them is 'the one'.

Yes DC would have a big income, but that's not to say the family lives within its means. Who knows what kind of debt they have? And what kind of stress this might put them under. Not saying this is the case, just that a big income doesn't always equal less financial stress.

I thought the postal survey question was extremely clear. It simply asked whether you preferred that the law be changed to allow same sex couples to marry. The wording, therefore, would reflect this (if changed). I reckon it was 2000's that the little bespectacled bloke changed the wording.

Just on the grand final tickets, there's a decent chance DC obtained them through work, and therefore didn't pay for them. I'm only putting this out there because earlier, some thought it odd (I think) that he was away from her for such an event.

Great get with the number plates. I think these, coupled with her satirical letter to the editor regarding private schools, provide us with a pretty good idea about her attitude towards life in the Eastern suburbs. Plus there's her 'fighting' for the underdog in her letters too.
