In one of the earlier threads there was a link to a news video that played the actual radio traffic of the search party. I recall the radio call indicating that they found foot prints and asking people to stay away from that area.
If that is the case, perhaps the filing caused a review of the file and the Court discovered that RL was not in compliance with the terms of his probation. The warrant may be the direct result of the court filing and not any activity by law enforcement. In other words, don't get your hopes up.
I think the question that needs answering with respect to RL is why his lawyer would file a petition on March 7, 2017 and then tell the court to disregard it.
How did he get there and how did he leave? If this was planned, which given the lack of an arrest seems to be the case, parking a car near the trail head or the cemetery seems a very risky proposition.
The best place to hide is in plain sight. A hiker, hunter, boater or person with some other reason to be in the park would not be memorable or suspicious. I'm sure that when the guy preciously visited the area, he wasn't wearing the same outfit and even if he was it is doubtful anyone would...
Me thinks familiar with but not from. There are numerous theories as to why the perpetrator would be in the area, in particular that area. He will have multiple reasons for being there, not just one. Also, if and when he is found, it will be someone no one suspected, not an RSO or someone...
The bodies were located on property owned by Ron Logan. According to the news article below, he was away on the 13th and only returned to the 14th. Makes me wonder if the perpetrator was aware that Mr. Logan was away and was using his property as a base of operations. If that is the case...
My take is that the abduction did not take place on the south end of the bridge for several reasons. 1) When the police initially released the photograph, which was presumably taken from a video, the individual was not a suspect. The police also indicated not to assume the voice they released...
I think the only reason LE is not ruling out the possibility of two perpetrators is that the crime scene contained organized and disorganized elements. Organized in the sense that there is evidence that the perpetrator(s) planned the offense, apparently picked strangers as victims who were...
I have not read anything about whether the bodies were concealed. There does appear to be at least one abandoned structure in the area. Here is a story that mentions an abandoned farm building.

And here is a photograph of what...
Good point. I suspect the LE has evidence that leads them to believe his point of egress was 25. Either tracking dogs lost the scent there or they followed his tracks. Given everything we know, the focus is on someone who is not local.
I'm not sure that the bodies were left in the open or easily discoverable, but maybe the answer as to why the bodies were left there has to do with the manner in which the perpetrator arrived and exited the area. I note that the ISP previously stated the following:
“We are asking people...
