The justice may end up being in the civil courts rather than criminal. Is that case scheduled for trial yet?

Lucky2--Just wondered if you had any new information from the autopsies or anything else. Hope you're doing well.

Wow, what a story. This is only about an hour or a little more from me! Thanks for the update. We haven't heard much about it lately.

I haven't had any experience with anything like this, but I always wonder in the cases of suspected crimes if there isn't always someone, somewhere who knows SOMETHING that may be a critical piece of evidence. They only way they will be found or come forward is if they see something on the news...

Doesn't the poison remain in the hair shaft? There would be some trace of something in the remains, I would assume, even after all these years. The 2nd husband wouldn't have been so long though--what, 2-3 years?

Interesting reading, for sure. Thanks for sharing that with us--I'm sure it's difficult to read these writings when she doesn't remember incidents the same way you do.

My goodness--she goes to great lengths to discredit you and explain things away. So you have been to psychiatrists just to make sure you're OK?

Yikes, that's scary, calling your business and creating the story of an illness! Too many coincidences...

Lucky2, it most definitely would be indicative of some kind of psychological or psychiatric disorder. Coupled with the allegations against her of criminal wrongdoing, it would seem to go far beyond a simple predisposition to lying.

Hi, lucky2. Just to clarify my statement, I didn't mean to imply that charges wouldn't be forthcoming, but at this point the authorities apparently had not yet accumulated enough evidence to pursue them. I would imagine that when the full autopsy results are in, something will happen. Since...

I'm sure--I don't know how you couldn't be conflicted over this. The evidence points to behavior that you certainly would hate to believe could be committed by someone you know. Truly, I can't even imagine it.

I can't get it to open but it might be my computer. ETA: It finally opened, but it took a while. Thanks, lucky2.

No offense taken in your suspicions of my user name. I've been SillyRabbit on other various forums dating back several years. It goes back probably 20 years, before I even knew what the internet was! How creepy and almost macabre about the birthday card to the sick stepson. EEK.
