Perhaps. I'd hazard to guess her lack of criminal history is more of a factor. And remember, she's only actually gone to court on a traffic violation. I don't think there's much legal course in claiming someone is a flight risk for that.

TS I can see the worry. He has a history of evading LE. MAS, not so much. Judging from his history on the move, I find it unlikely he'll even bother coming back for her if he's ever given an opportunity to run.

There goes my hope that he would be forced to serve time for that here. It seems that the issues in court on both situations is that they're LE isn't actually bringing JL's case into play at all. Even the extradition request seems to have been a mistake that wasn't even requested. I guess...

Absolutely. I should have added more detail. Louisiana and Orleans Parish are constantly adding to their ban on bath salts as chemical compounds get adjusted to get around the law. Because of this, most stores in N.O. proper have deemed them an unnecessary risk that only invites grief from LE...

And rhapsody is right about bath salts being illegal. Moreover, "standard drugs" are almost as easy to get on Bourbon as a pack of cigarettes. At least for locals. While I have no doubt she's done them, it would be much easier for her to get any other drug she wanted.

MAS is definitely not the Reddit/Chan type. There are plenty of people that are deep into that world in the quarter, and plenty who aren't. The types of people that spend their time in the quarter are, let's say exaggerated personalities. It's generally easy to tell where people fall in the...

I'd rather like to think that it's good. I'd much rather be hearing that they have evidence that we don't know about and they don't want anyone to know about. That means they've got ideas and more to work with.

I agree that he didn't strike me as a murderer. To be honest, he didn't strike me as a "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 criminal" either. That being said, all you could claim I did was meet him. MAS brought him in once. I was working. They were hanging out. We didn't talk past introductions. I actually remember...

My main argument against this is MAS deleting her Facebook page right after JL went missing, making a new one, then deleting the new one almost right after she made it. That seems like panic to me.

They're pretty much working for tips.

Almost never on a Tuesday or Wednesday in June. If they are making good money at this time of year, it's because one wealthy man or a small group of wealthy men are throwing money around at their chosen few girls for the night. If that were the case, she wouldn't have been interested in leaving...

This is the main reason that I doubt the premeditation theory. At least in regards to MAS. As QuarterRatty pointed out, MAS parked on the 100-200 block area off of Bourbon. This involves her passing a minimum of 3 clubs she's worked for and is well aware of the extent of the camera systems in...

When it comes to them not leaving, one of the things that's been brought up a few times with our old co-workers is the possibility that MAS was trying to get her kids before they left.

I believe you have. I believe a lot of mistakes get made quite often. My HOPE is that the combination of local popularity in the media with this case and the amount of different LE departments (up to and including US Marshals thanks to TS's history) is forcing the situation to be carefully...

Looking at everything that's going on, I don't think we really need to be overly concerned with them getting out on bond. Even if they did somehow pull it off, LE isn't letting them out of their sight. The minute they try to leave the state (if not the parish) they'd be violating the rules of...
