I am assuming the searchers would know the locations of any mine entrances and that these would have been searched? Although, assume there may be some they don’t know about too..
I assume there would be some CCTV from Barnard Castle maybe? Maybe they have looked at this and ruled out that she went there. I just got the impression parents thought she may be going for a run to Barnard Castle as opposed to going to visit it.
Really good point about the cleaning job aspect - some cleaners do have to clean in the early hours of the morning and we know there are some industrial units near there. That would make sense. Although the clothing they are wearing doesn’t really fit with ‘cleaning’ IMO.
Sorry if this has been mentioned earlier but have we thought that maybe it wasn’t the sisters that sent the message to the landlord? If it was a letter, anyone could have written it. Maybe they had no intention of leaving? (Hence why they hadn’t mentioned to family and hence why their belongings...
I think the key thing here is that the police DID go inside those flats this afternoon.They must have done that for a reason - those flats and not next door for example. There is a reason for that.
But then again, the more I think of it - surely screeching tyres, loud bang would have been heard....if noises like this were not reported, then more veering towards the scuffle whilst trying to get her in a car as mentioned a minute ago
Could this be a case of a hit and run/accident gone wrong? maybe police have received new dash cam footage which showed a car at that time that had mounted the curb...driver may have panicked, disposed of body...maybe the second ‘road closure’ nearby could be an address where the car is...
