I don't believe Patsy did any " staging" she just did what she did and went back to bed and when she awoke a couple hours later, she remembered nothing.

According to the autopsy report the rope left a deep furrow all the way around her neck. Also, the petechial hemorrhaging around the eyes and in places along the deep furrow suggests in my opinion a sustained strangulation. It seems to go far beyond a rope pulled tightly as part of " staging".

The garrot was not staged. If you look at the autopsy pictures the rope is imbedded in JBR neck.

If you are right, it suggests a neighbor is the shooter. Perhaps not happy about noise in the morning, or people that will be coming and going all day, causing a dog to bark, or people blocking the driveway, or some other annoyance.

More likely he was planning to off himself but was too chicken. That is narcissism; easy to kill others but not easy to kill oneself.

I would think that once you cut into the body of a human, you just might become a vegan after that. Just my opinion but I don't think this was his first kill.
