Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia: 10 confirmed dead, 25 injured in mass shooting (2/10/2026)

Following from Alberta. For Canadians, school shootings are far less common than in the US, and so shocking. My heart goes out to the families, to this small community, and to first responders dealing with this horror.

Thank you for sharing. This is very in depth. This is the best information we’ve been able to see related to MBM and how she is doing. It is good to know MBM has good friends supporting her. IMO

I think it is a fallacy to believe only highly intelligent people can plan or get away with murder, or that only dumb people get caught. I’d say Douglas Garland was highly intelligent yet he was caught. Robert Pickton - not a high IQ but got away with many murders for a long time before he was...

Murder by strangulation or suffocation is unlikely to leave much evidence behind. If a body can be disposed of, so can, say, a pillow. IMO

All this news today has me thinking about the moment on the evening of day 2 when something suddenly changed with MBM, and she walked away from police and cried in the ambulance. Shortly after, she and the baby left with her mother. What I wonder, was there a moment of clarity for her, that she...

I believe the disappearance is criminal, and sadly, I believe the children are not alive. My reasons: I find it hard to believe a child, let alone 2 children, could wander and leave no trace. According to the alleged timeline, imo, there was not time enough for 2 small kids to get so far away...

All we know, really, about the reason for the CPS investigation is what has been stated in MSM by DM, that it was about the kids’ suspected autism and falling behind in school, nothing more. If that’s the case, would CPS even ask about finances? IMO

I believe it’s quite possible DM had not filed his taxes for no other reason than a lack of life skills. It’s possible someone else had done it for him before, like, say, his ex-wife. Sure, it’s a lot of money lost but it was MBM’s loss not his. He seemed fine with the arrangement in which they...

Maybe the sweaters are up a different tree, lol! Yes, the weight of the blanket, based on the photo posted recently, makes me doubtful any bird, squirrel or wind carried it a km away in such a densely treed area and wrapped it in a tree. IMO

Re the blanket https://thecanadiangothic.com/lilly-and-jack-sullivan-documents-1 On page 26 of the 35 released court document pages, it names relatives who “came out of the woods to say they found a pink blanket in the woods” If they found it in the woods, it is my opinion that there are far...

I also found it odd, imo, when DM asserted that 2 of his sweaters had been stolen. My question, who would steal them and why? To what end? Was this ever cleared up?

I appreciate this kind of thinking.Though I think it “could have” happened this way, I don’t think it did. Does anyone recall, from the reporting or court docs, did DM or MBM say that both pieces of the blanket had been thrown in the garbage at the same time? We know DM tore off part of the...

Your post remind me of something that has puzzled me and which I hope will be cleared up one day - why did DM state he believed the part of the blanket found in the woods was planted? (The other piece of the same blanket was found in the week old garbage)...
