My itchy brain is full of questions. I am interested in knowing what kind of social life they had, DM and MBM. For example, did they have many friends? Their home is in a pretty remote unpopulated area. I know when I had 3 little ones, our social life was family events and play dates. Did they...

You sound like a very kind person. It is important to give grace to people who may be innocent victims of a terrible crime or accident involving their children. At the same time, this is a web forum discussing crime, and in this case, missing children. We can hope for the best, while also...

I find it interesting that it was DM alone seen with the children, getting groceries the night before they disappeared. Why would he take them, given that at least one was sick enough to miss school, and given that MBM was home, and could have looked after this wee sick child? Why fix the fence...

I hope this is helpful. In this day and age, we don’t always remember, there are cameras everywhere. The right video footage could show someone in the area, whether potential witnesses or perpetrators.

MA - Professor Karen Read, 43, charged with murdering police officer boyfriend John O'Keefe by hitting him with car, Canton, 14 Apr 2023 #34 Retrial

My opinion on this - yes, the defense should know about what holes are in the hoodie and why. I think this line of questioning by the prosecution took the defense by surprise. Their first instinct was not to suspect that the prosecution was pulling a fast one. Instead, they may have wondered...

I hear you. But living in the middle of nowhere makes it feel safer, in a way. They can only get so far, there’s no traffic, the chances of a predator coincidentally happening by on that one occasion the kids got out are infinitesimal. They had time to be methodical. IMO

Their account of what they did when they discovered the children were not inside the home does not ring true for me. My first thought would not be “they’re missing, omg, they’ve been abducted or wandered off!” My first instinct would not be panic, it would be, “oh they must be outside”. Look...

I would think so too. However, in this hypothetical of a dog attack, it might be more likely to occur outside. Would LE use lumenol on the whole property? IMHO

If there was a dangerous dog on the shared property, fear for their toddler could be a good motivator for MBM to get away from the Gairloch Rd property. Or if she suspected the dog was involved. This could also explain the animosity/tension that broke out between DM’s family and MBM’s family. If...

Cases like this can take a long time. Don’t lose hope. There are very little good LE resources working to solve this case. I understand why some folks want to hold onto hope these children are still alive, but I don’t think that’s likely. The best I’m hoping for is justice. IMO

Certainly an interesting idea. There is a current murder trial in the US in which the defense has presented an alternate theory as to the cause of death, dog attack. A particularly vicious dog could certainly fatally harm 2 small children quickly. Terrifying thought. IMO

There has really only been 2 sources of information - the official news releases from law enforcement and DMs accounts of what happened/ is happening which have appeared in the news. I personally find that some of what DM has said does not ring true. First, I see him presenting a grandiose...

I personally don’t think it takes 2 parents to feed a 16 month old. Plus if they were in bed with the baby as they’ve stated, the baby wouldn’t have been consuming anything beyond a baby bottle, maybe, which requires no assistance for a 16 month old. I also don’t see it as likely that a 4 and 6...
