Totally agree Linda7NJ.
Also, I don't think that JR originally considered that the RN was written by anyone inside the house, because he was the one who gave the police officer PR's writing pad when he was asked for a sample of her handwriting. If he was aware that PR or BR (or he) had...
Sorry if I'm repeating what has already been said, but I haven't had a chance to read the rest of the thread.
I note that one of the jurors has been admonished by the judge for downloading information from the internet on the role of a jury in a criminal trial...
Not sure if he will be in trouble for not showing up today, but if he fails to testify, and he has been subpoenaed, he could be charged with contempt of court.
This article gives a bit more detail...

Check out the 10.15am entry.
This is big. He is the guy that organised the wire tap on the phones in the Rayney home. Hope they can track him down and when they do, I think his...
Yes, agreed. I think everybody knows that this will be a possibility. Their loyalty to their father is very evident.
Can't imagine that there will be much to be gained by the Prosecution calling them. I'm guessing that they'll be called by the Defense (probably to say what a great guy LR is...
Interesting information in the video at the bottom of this report:

Apparently the Judge is finding the detailed forensic evidence confusing and the Prosecution are preparing a simplified report...
I think the Defense are stretching in trying to imply that there was a third scene. Of course it is logical that in a car used by a mother with at least one young child that there would be a certain amount of child related debris in the car (including purple sand, beads etc.). But I suppose...
Hi Tweetypie
Certainly a possibility. I thought the comment about the clean bricks was unusual - especially because it came from the Judge. You would think that if the Prosecution considered that the bricks had been cleaned to destroy evidence they would have brought it up - but maybe it is...
Thanks for the article Zoro. Hadn't seen that one, but it is certainly interesting!
I'm guessing he is a witness for the Prosecution. In the article it says:
"There is no suggestion that anyone associated with Mr Rayney made the threat."
They wouldn't have made that point if the...
Thanks Zoro; that's helpful information. I'd like to go, but can't get there by 10am and can't commit to a full day, so the idea of coming and going when you are able to makes it more likely that I'll have a peek at the proceedings.
Reading MSM reports of Mr Clarke's testimony - he seems pretty confident about his findings (which is good for the Prosecution!) and he seemed to handle the cross-examination quite well (also good for the Prosecution).
I read somewhere that the Defense has a UK minerologist that was attending...
Possibly, but I imagine that the police would have examined emails from LR's work computer and could verify whether they existed or not. I'm guessing that if it is being discussed during the trial, then an email about LR sleeping in the children's beds probably existed.
The Defense seem to be making a big deal about discrepancies between statements that witnesses have made and their testimony during the trial. It's hardly surprising that after 5 years people may not recall things in the same way as they did shortly after the event. I imagine that the judge...
