I have what I believe is the correct phone number for the "eyewitness" in the tapes. I have called about 7 times, and no one picks up. I don't feel comfortable leaving a message at this point. Any ideas?
I emailed Patricia at her AOL email address listed in her post. So far no response. The post was from last summer, so it is possible that the email isn't valid anymore. I would really like to talk to her so I hope she responds.
Has anyone else tried?
Wow, you really do rock! I sent an email to Patricia. I will let you know if I hear back from her. Do you think this guy was from Paynesville? It is hard to tell from the posting.
I noticed on the front page of Websleuths, it talks about the expense of getting documents from the Casey Anthony case. Is it possible to get them from this case, or because no one has been charged it is still a closed investigation. Anyone?
Thank you Shergal. I will have to go through them tonight.
There are a lot of them that come up, so it might take awhile.
It is really kind of curious that they would all have the same last name.
There were a lot of out buildings, and I heard that they stored things for the church fair or something like that. Who knows what kind of interesting things might be on that farm, that could be of value. And a big enough place to be able to stay hidden pretty easily.

"A little shiver went through me," he said. "I didn't know...
I listened to that tape quite a few times, and I was never clear on where exactly they saw them in the ditch. If it was close to the Rassier farm, my question is, where were they coming from- who were they visiting. I think they were from St Cloud at the time, not St Joseph.
It is very...
I have thought about a grudge as well, but it seems more likely it would be against the parents, then Jacob. Maybe the religion was too strange for some of the staunch Catholics and Christians in that town.
But even with that scenario, we are back to how did someone know they would be on that...
It is really perplexing. Because no matter how you figure it, the logistics are hard to pull off. If they were being stalked, how would you know they would go to the store, and how would you get ahead of them? If it was a neighbor, they wouldn't have known to be at the Rassier farm at that...
So whether it was RB and MB (or someone else)- I think they had to be tipped off. Who could have known the boys would ride to the store?
The pizza delivery person, the babysitter/family/friends, or someone at the party who heard the conversation. It couldn't have been just someone who knew...
