I think usually there is something in a case that I can relate too. For example cases involving women, children or mental illness are too areas where I can relate to the situation more.

I don't ever lose interest in a case that caught my attention, I just will stop checking in as often once it feels like there are no new facts. The Adam Walsh case for example still interests me but there isn't any real new information.

I used FOIA to get all of the files involved in my rape case, I sent my request to the agency AND I sent a copy of my request to my congress person. I got my information extremely quickly (within 6 months) Interestingly enough who ever did the redaction of my files managed to avoid/miss blacking...

I would purchase a special Amber Alert License Plate to save the program I think it is key to helping save children.
