IMO, I don't think HER DNA inside the house has anything to do with sexual assault. Of course her DNA is inside her house -- all different kinds of her DNA.
She may have been sexually assaulted (God, I hope not!), but HER DNA wouldn't shed any light on that.
I would be much more suspicious...
My thoughts on the cameras, based on this article:
“'The cameras will record to the servers as long as they have internet. According to Nest, without a subscription, usually they are quickly overwritten by next images. But if the camera is disconnected, there should be nothing to overwrite on...
In that link, you will find the criminal complaint against the fake ransomer. However, THAT complaint confirms the contact from church member to family.
Things that are unusual IMO:
1. Kidnapping for ransom, just generally
2. Kidnapping an 84-year-old, specifically
3. Sexually assaulting and then kidnapping an 84-year-old
4. Sending a delayed ransom note with two different deadlines
Things that are normal or at least normal in some families...

The initial reporting made it sound like it was an hour, but the timeline verified today indicates that it was only about 5 minutes, which makes sense to me. My dad is 88 and lives alone, so a lot of this hits pretty close, but if I saw blood outside of his...
To my understanding, no. A hate crime is typically defined as occurring when someone is targeted for being part of a group -- singled out and killed for being a person of color or LGBTQ+, etc. -- not just when someone is killed because someone hates them.
Holy moly ... 16 shots?! From this link:
"The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has released autopsy reports detailing the deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe, the Columbus couple found shot to death in their home last month.
"According to the reports, Spencer Tepe was shot seven times...
No, he was in her hometown (Columbus) when she left the game, which was in Indianapolis. She didn't drive 3 hours back home to confront him alone.
My best guess is that he did something that she (rightfully!) perceived as threatening but that was not illegal. If she actually knew he were in her...
I've worked as a copy editor, and the grasp of written English even by native speakers is ... not always the best. To me, this doesn't prove much either way ...
Yes, in the texts I read (which I feel so bad for his family having to see -- I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than having to read my kids' sexy texts or having my parents read mine) he seemed respectful of her boundaries and serious about consent. The whole BDSM/knife play kink is not...
I've been through a divorce with a young child (she was around the same age as the Banfields' daughter at the time). It was terrible and painful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. And yet as long as I live, I will never ever ever understand why people come up with these insanely convoluted and...
I agree with the "extreme jealousy" part, but there is nothing to suggest that M & S's relationship overlapped with her marriage to MM. M & S met online, and she spoke in the wedding video of enduring "bad Bumble dates," so it stands to reason that she was single for a good while between her...
