If I were a juror, all the little lies add up to her being an unreliable witness. So the "I hit him" is an unreliable statement IMO Also, her use of 'traumatic event' and then not remembering one year to the next about said...
We were on Interstate 39 today (central IL) and all the overhead signs had the description of the car, a possible plate #, and to call 911. It didn't state why or who they were looking for, which I thought was strange - BUT it was only 2 flashes of info, so it was clear and I could read it...
I won't fly (irrational fear lol), so that doesn't seem so strange to me - also, moving home when you're 35 is pretty common for my generation. I do wonder what the cause of the move is though - relationship started/ended, sick parent, lost housing for whatever reason, etc. What stands out to...
It's so weird that there is absolutely no movement in 5 years. I'm wondering if they figured something out and didn't report it publicly. I always "🤬🤬🤬"umed that those footprints to the border wall were not his and possibly someone who stole his car - but then, where is he?! Could have been a...
I've stated in earlier posts, this is where I live and no one is making that walk to harm themselves. The towns blend together - the highschool is named LaSalle-Peru H.S. because it falls on both...which is very close to the car dump. It's a very specific area --- and sure--- coincidences...
Just blur the minor out? I'm confused about the picture...seems weird. I also wonder if 530am with no shoes is ending the night or starting the day. It's really lacking good initial info - sounds like LE knows enough that they think they have a good lead, but then they relocate search teams.
unfortunately, IMO, when you go over the maps - there is a clear consensus on who/what family was involved - I'm interested to hear new opinions though...whether agreed upon or not :)
ETA: This is one of many cold cases that bother me...I'll check back in every so often in hopes of a little...
I couldn't imagine. I'm getting ready to send my 17 year old to Germany for 10 days (with schoolmates and teachers). You're always worried about your child - but sometimes you have to let them go and be free....I'm proud and terrified at the same time.
I hope his friends find peace too...
100%
I'd also like to know what behavior led Riley, and only Riley, to be booted from the bar. I've seen many people get kicked out of bars, big and small - I've never seen anyone leave alone (usually the whole group gets booted). And if those friends were that concerned, they would have called...
this is weirdly 'normal' I suppose. If you live in a city, you see this all the time - obviously we know he wasn't always like this, but there are people who act like this all the time...so a passerby may very well think this is just a 'tweaker', 'drug addict', etc ---not even necessarily drunk...
I feel you, unfortunately, we've seen A LOT of college males end up in the water. That is where my guess lays right now. I'm sad to even type that, but his body may take a few days, if not longer, to be able to be detected or "come up" for lack of a better term.
