There was a little snippet of Jean Casarez's interview with CM on HLN last night. CM stated that he believed KC's relationship with her parents was "dissolved" at this point (but that maybe she could still have a relationship with her brother).
If I'm remembering correctly, Susan Smith had already confessed, so perhaps that made the difference. I don't recall why there was still a trial, though!
I voted "no," but actually I am now more convinced that it was premeditated murder. I could have almost bought an accident with cover-up explanation prior to hearing the DT's ridiculous stories today.
Thanks for starting this thread. Although I can't understand or condone their behaviors over the past 3 years, I do believe that they adored Caylee and are truly suffering. I wish them peace and healing, and that they will someday soon be able to embrace and admit the truth.
Same here! I had no idea that was taken by the detectives at Universal! Just a-laughin' and a-grinnin' while being interviewed about her missing baby! Unbelievable!!
I agree. Even though I understand and respect the arguments for it, I just couldn't vote for the dp. If that were off the table in this case, I'd still have trouble serving on the jury because of the financial strain it would cause.
I completely agree! She's gotten away with her ridiculous lies for so long that she's probably confident that the jury will buy that line of garbage she's peddling. Obviously her DT has done nothing to disabuse her of this. I can't imagine any competent defense attorney letting her anywhere...
