The sheriff said it.

My question though was what prompted a neighbor to call adult protective Services. I'm not asking why they attended I'm just wondering what made the neighbor call when the police were already involved.
Actually I was mistaken, now that I look it up the sheriff said that a neighbor called the same day she went missing. So who knows what they were thinking?
It's in this thread, but it's also here:

Where would they search? The last place she was seen was her home, I'm sure they searched that general area. Without an idea of where she was, where would they start?
I'm a mandated reporter because of my job, so I've called APS and CPS in the past for various reasons. I wouldn't think that a layperson would call APS in this situation; it's really not an APS situation. I believe that most people's understanding is that protective services are for abuse or...
I might be mistaken, but I thought the sheriff said that a neighbor called Adult Protective Services. That sounds to me like someone reached out to them specifically, not that they attended as part of a law enforcement action. MOO
I'm still perplexed by this. What prompted the neighbor to call APS?
According to the timeline we have, NG was dropped off between 9pm and 10pm on Saturday. Then she failed to attend the virtual church service at her friend's house on Sunday. This prompted the friend to call AG, who went...
If there was an accomplice inside the house, how did they get in without being on camera? Why didn't the guy on camera enter the same way? If they wanted to go out the front door couldn't they have reached out the front door to block the camera so it didn't see them at all as they removed it?
I was wondering where they got those names. I assumed that a handful of them were close friends and family just to do their due diligence but I wondered where the rest of the names came from.
Was something stolen from the home, other than NG? Why would he take her if it was a burglary gone wrong (assuming going wrong was that she was killed)? If I recall, she had a hearing impairment; if that's true, it seems as though it would be relatively easy to break in to the home and take...
If ransom was the objective, I think he would remove her regardless of whether she was dead. If the objective was to extort money from the family, that would presumably remain the objective even if she died accidentally in the home.
