I'm glad the baby is alive, but my issue with these boxes is they can hide trafficking. I know they are intended to be used as a way to surrender a newborn without any punishment, but what if the mother is in danger? What if the father or grandfather of the baby surrenders in order to hide a crime?

Unfortunately, personality disorders are really tough to "fix" and they require intensive therapy by a therapist skilled in personality disorders AND the person REALLY needs to want to change. So yes, a better health care system would be great, but it takes someone to want to change...

So he killed three people who had absolutely nothing to do with him not getting a job. In reference to the Amy Bishop case, at LEAST she killed people who (she felt) denied her tenure. Not excusing it, of course, but at least it wasn't AS senseless. Didn't she also plead guilty to murdering...

OK, I don't really understand the motive. He was denied a job at the age of 67...he was eligible for SS and also likely had retirement funds. Also, he was old enough (or should have been old enough) to realize that not having a job is never the end of the world. This is just strange.

The poor man was NOT responsible for who Jeffrey was or what he decided to become. I understand Jeffrey's brother changed his name, which I don't blame him for at all.

It depends, I am very sure that the prosecution has everything they need to win a guilty verdict, but…juries can be weird about the DP, especially when the defendant is white and intelligent. So the prosecution could take a plea if it’s life WO parole. I don’t think BK would necessarily be safe...
