Found Deceased Australia - Karen Ristevski, 47, Melbourne, Vic, 29 June 2016 - #18 *Arrest*

Personally I don't think SR had anything to do with the murder but if it had of gone to trial I could see a couple of people getting implicated as accessory's after the fact and guilty plea was entered to save them getting charged as a trial would have produced evidence to support such charges...

Found Deceased Australia - Karen Ristevski, 47, Melbourne, Vic, 29 June 2016 - #18 *Arrest*

Details of her mother’s death shocked Australia as too did Sarah’s decision not to provide a victim impact statement, instead choosing to write a glowing reference for her father describing him as “loving, caring, sympathetic, protective and charismatic”. Unfortunately the charismatic reference...

I think BR signed a statement to police very early on and then went back and asked to re-do it as he forgot the first time to include that he took a little trip up the highway. He changed it once he found out his and KR's phone was pinged on the highway.

In Victoria, Perjury is a serious offence and carries a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment. Penalties the Court can impose for Perjury: Imprisonment (Jail – Full Time) Community Corrections Orders Fine Adjourned undertaking Discharge Dismissal The Offence Of Perjury: The offence of...

NSW determination of Perjury (*not sure of Victoria's): CRIMES ACT 1900 - SECT 327 Offence of perjury 327 Offence of perjury person who in or in connection with any judicial proceeding makes any false statement on oath concerning any matter which is material to the proceeding, knowing the...

I still think when BR admitted manslaughter he should have been charged with perjury for lies told to police, family and the media. His deceit and lies meant that the Investigation took months longer and cost millions of police time and money than it needed to if he had put his hand up from day...

”The Director of Public Prosecutions Kerri Judd QC has lodged an appeal against the sentence handed down to Borce Ristevski for the manslaughter of his wife Karen. Ristevski was sentenced in the Melbourne Supreme Court on April 18 to nine years' imprisonment, with a non-parole period of six...

Via Marple where did I miss that quote? But when a reporter rang him on February 20 to say Karen’s body has been found, he distanced himself saying: “Well It’s got nothing to do with me.” Who took the last cookie out of the jar or who walked in with dirty shoes are trivial concerns to use that...

I agree totally with your sentiments South Australia. All those glowing references for BR but ask yourself one question "would I buy a used car off BR".

Good to see even with his own demons to deal with someone who has a closer personal relationship with BR than most didn't believe the glowing references.

Yes Edgarb a truly tragic and short life for the young boy. I guarantee that no one will get up in court to give his parents a glowing reference as if anyone did they would be forever ruing the day they did. Following KR's case from day 1 certainly has helped to assess other situations sadly I...

Found Deceased Australia - Karen Ristevski, 47, Melbourne, Vic, 29 June 2016 - #17 *Arrest*

Just re read maybe the court didn't accept the glowing reviews of BR on the day. I think the Judge had determined the sentence prior to the day of sentencing but by reading out those glowing comments of BR on the day where family and friends were finally glad there would be justice those glowing...

I listened again earlier to the live audio sentencing of BR and one thing irks me. It seems seems strange to me that the Court accepts glowing references from people closely tied to a self confessed murderer on the day of sentencing. What person connected to BR isn't going to give him a glowing...
