I really think they know who did this now, they are drip feeding information, we've seen this before. How sad that someone she knew is likely to have done this. I hope it's not someone in her inner circle that the family trusted
Maybe it is someone who was associated in a paid capacity...
So given Nancy by all accounts seems like a lovely lady, if there was a deep grievance it is likely people knew about it or suspected it.
This to me sounds like they have an idea who it is, maybe putting a bit of pressure on them?
This is starting to narrow the possibilities of what happened. They are saying its unlikely to be related to Savannah, now they are saying its unlikely to be a home invasion/robbery gone wrong.
It isn't leaving many options for what happened
Still leaves in the mix a dispute, vendetta...
So sad to hear there was blood at the scene - what on earth happened to Nancy. LE has to have more information that they aren't sharing. I hope the family are coping as best they can in a terrible situation like this. I can't imagine how they are feeling each day that goes on not knowing where...

This is what I am finding confusing. I was assuming that because the family waited to call police, there mustn't have been anything significantly out of place immediately indicating something nefarious had happened. Yet now they are saying the house was in some sort of disarray.
It sounds...

Oh how scary for her :( Crime is awful at any age, but how terribly sad that she makes it through life to her wonderful elderly age and then appears to have some sort of crime committed against her.
I think it was simply her personal items remained in the house and she is missing. And possibly the door was left open but we don't know this.
I'm not sure there is anything beyond this, but it suggests its what they are attributing to as out of the ordinary.
as noted here:
'Savannah told a...
