We had heavy rains yesterday and I believe it increased the odds of flooding, and he would have had to seek higher ground. The parks in my area flood after rain, and locals know what areas to avoid, and where you can go to be dry. MOO

After rains, certain areas of parks are prone to flooding. I think maybe it might help narrow the search area. Park rangers should be familiar with areas prone to flooding, and may know areas where he could hide that would get him out of water. MOO

An electric one. I live in a villa complex, and they won't allow propane. We are also checking into a solar one. My husband also was thinking about the battery route, but we have seen some affordable solar ones.

We are purchasing a portable generator next week, which will be able to run a refrigerator, fan, and charge items. We are also looking into a smaller solar generator to use at night. We lost power during Irma, and don't want to go through that again.
