An update on the white truck on 2nd street--it was still there last night when I picked up my husband and we pulled into look at it but it has a black bedliner. :sigh:
In this particular case I think it's the opposite. One of LS' friends or acquaintances wouldn't be *able* to keep her alive. It's not like she's tucked into their roommates' bathroom. They don't have the means to carry out an abduction and keep someone alive.
A stranger could, however.
Ok, let me think out loud. If I was driving that truck what would I be thinking? Obviously I'm making assumptions, but I'm either trying to dispose of a body (either from an accident or a murder) or I've just kidnapped a girl. I may or may not have her (and/or an accomplice of mine) in the bed...
The unlined truck bed gets me. What construction worker (or anyone who actually uses their truck for, well, truck-like purposes) would have an unlined bed? And if they have fancy rims it's not like they couldn't afford a liner.
I think the 'writing' is some kind of decal and that truck isn't...
I just don't know that most college kids are going to have anyone that they could call at 5 am and say, "I just killed someone (or she died accidently) and I need you to help me hide the body" and them do it.
I've gone to pick up many friends drunk off of their gourds (many at Kilroys, lol)...
I completely agree with all of this. I also don't blame JW for getting out of town. I can only imagine having to handle the harassment and suspicion in addition to the complete fog you'd have to be in to have someone gone but not really gone.
Certainly I don't feel for him (or the other...
It's a pretty decent jog to get to highway 37 from right downtown. It's not somewhere you would stumble upon if you were just passing through.
Edited: I clipped the wrong part of the quote. Whatever was asking how far this area is from a major highway.
I've wondered if they're looking at Ivy Tech's students as well. A lot of local kids her age go there because credits transfer to IU and it's way cheaper. Plus LS was registered for summer classes there.
I need to catch up on this thread but wanted to throw out there that I took my husband to work this morning and saw a truck matching the phone in the photo (in body, I didn't see the tire rims). It has Kenny Bland Auctions on the front doors and their logo on the back doors. Both are a blue...
