MI MI - Augustine Floyd, 18, Mt. Pleasant, 12 Oct 2007

I just read in the Mt. Pleasant Morning Sun that the police believe they are closer to solving the "murder" of Floyd. Here is the link to the story www.morningsun.com/articles/2008/12/02/news/srv0000004182095.txt They have classified it as a homicide and say they have a person of interest...

I live in Mt. Pleasant, but as yet haven't heard anything new.

Can't say I'm all that impressed with Dad. Telling his daughters not to be 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 like their mother is not good parenting, and no doubt did psychological damage in my opinion. It is odd that Stacy's mom also went missing. Do we know for certain when Stacy and DP met? Do we even know if Christie...

    AZ AZ - Glen Hyde, 29, & Bessie Haley, 23, 15 Nov 1928

I read Sunk Without a Sound. It presented a very logical argument for drowning. I don't think there was a murder. I think it was just a series of tragic mishaps.

I'm inclined to agree with the drowning theory. It is the most rational. And I recently ordered Sunk Without a Sound from Amazon.com and am looking forward to reading it.It sounds like Glen and Bessie got in over their heads trying to navigate such difficult waters. Forgive the pun. It really...

GUILTY OK - Wendy Camp, Cynthia Britto, & Lisa Kregear, Chandler, 29 May 1992

My personal opinion is that they never left Shamrock. A family that will go to such lengths to block visitation and that has a history of violence will probably not stop at a court order. But that's just my opinion.

Can it be verified that these three were even seen at this Walmart? Or do we only have the ex mother in law's claim that she dropped them off there? I remember now seeing this case on Unsolved Mysteries.

The Tent Girl's story is mentioned in Emily Craig's book "Teasing Secrets from the Dead". I wonder about the husband too, especially since he didn't report her missing. And his occupation required him to travel a lot. That I think is significant.

Has anyone read Emily Craig's book, Teasing Secrets From the Dead? It is very informative, especially in regard to fires and what they do to bodies, and bones. According to her teeth usually survive even a professional crematory. Cremationists often will take the burnt remains and put them into...

I agree with you Richard. And a shoe is a strange thing to deliberately leave behind. What kind of shoe was it, I wonder. That might tell us something about the mother. Was it a nice shoe, was it cheap, etc? Also, how do we know that the woman was in trouble for Vagrancy C, prostitution. The...

I'm just wondering why Honeybourn is so certain the woman killed her boys. What evidence does he have to support this? I know it happens but I'm loath to believe the woman killed her boys, and in such a brutal fashion. Also while I understand Honeybourn's desire to give the boys a proper burial...

I don't know. There are similarities, but the man's picture isn't clear enough to me.

I'm really suspicious about the husband, especially since investigators believed he pushed her down the stairs. If he's violent enough to shove her down the stairs, then he's probably violently enough to kill her. The story about him catching her with another man sounds like a lie made to cover...

Looks pretty good. You got further with it than I did. Perhaps the next step is to find out more about these Wilsons, what happened to them, if they really had children and those two found were theirs. I think also that a new forensic reconstruction needs to be done on the skulls. What was...

How reliable was the supposed sighting of him by this woman. Could she have been mistaken? WAs it really him she saw or someone else? It was evening after all. How much light was there? Was it cloudy.
